World Earth Day Celebration

World Earth Day celebration was organized at Hotel
Mukund Vilas, Gulab RMV road, Udaipur on 22 April 2022.
Chief Guest were M.L.Lunawat prestigious mine owner of
the town, Mr Dilip Vyas Ex GM GMDC, Gujarat invitee
Key Speaker. The celebration programmes proceedings was
handled by the outgoing secretary Dr S.K.Vashisth in
excellent manner, giving due respect to all. The outgoing
president Sh S.C.Agarwal enlighten about the activities of
the society. Sh Dilip Vyas delivered his life time experiences
in mining industry, since he is expert in mining and geology
both discipline.

Sh Dilip Vyas, deliberately explained the role of
geoscientists in mining, environment and dedication for the
Earth as a whole. He has shared his versatile experiences of
lignite, bauxite and metal exploration and mining. The GSR
privileged to invite him, since he was involved in vibrant
Gujarat Summit, and elaborated about the summit. He is
holding key positions in several committees and their inputs
to them as a geoscientist, his contributions at various levels
and industries expectations, he tried to fulfill. He also
projected hurdles and difficulties in efficient workings.

Member speaker Sh. Sudhir Bhatnagar could not attended
due to important assignment of outstation and Professor
Govind Singh Bhardwaj was asked to deliver and he has
pointed about the soil health and appealed all to support save
soil movement and conscious planet movement launched by
Isha Foundation under the dynamic visionary spiritual leader
Jaggi Vasudev Sadguru. Sh Mangi Lal Lunawat in his
address projected problems of mining industry and asked all
experts to find out ecofriendly solution with futuristic
approach.
