Event 1: On the occasion of the World Environment Day on 05.06.2025 the Geoscientists Society of Rajasthan celebrated it by distributing plants 🌱 🪴🌴🍀🌳to the morning walkers at Lake Fatehsagar, Udaipur in the morning at around 7.30 am. About 100 indoor plants were distributed to the morning walkers, in presence of several members of the society. Members of the society present during this plant distribution event were:

Event 2: On the occasion of World Environment Day, on 5th June The Society has arranged for discussion with Sri Inder Pal Singh Matharu I.F.S (Retd.), Chairman, Expert Appraisal Committee for Coal Mining and Thermal power, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, evening at 5:30 PM at Hotel Mukund Vilas, Gulab Bagh Road, Udaipur.
Welcome of the Chief guest and his introduction was carried out by Sh K P Agarwal/ Sh RL Munshi / Vinod Agarwal/ MK Somani.
First we presented brief account of activities carried out by the society through power point presentation on plantation over the years.
Due to some technical glitches playing an official video on the Tapti Decommissioning Project from the Shell channel could not be done. However the matter was explained in detail by Sh. KL Jagetiya.
Fruitful, lengthy and healthy discussion was held with Shri Matharu on the polcies on EC by MOEFC from about 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Plants 🌱 were also distributed to all the members present by the Chief Guest, the plants were sponsored by Sh S N Dodia. Society extends thanks to Sh Dodia.
The expenditure of today’s program was sponsored by Sh DS Porwal. The society also extends its thanks to Sh. Porwal.
Vote of thanks was given by Shri Onkar Singh Siroya and it was followed by high tea.
