Dr. David Gee, Prof. Emeritus, orogen Dynamics, University of Uppsala , Sweeden?? presented his views on the collisional orogeny in the Programme jointly organized by Deptt. of Geology , MLSU and GSR on 9th Feb. 2018 in the Geology Department . This arrangement was made possible through the efforts of Mr. R K Tyagi ,former Ambassador of India to Norway and Dr. P K Yadav. It was?? heartening that Mr. R.K.Tyagi was also present during the deliberation. Mr.R.K. Tyagi did his PG from University of Roorkee and had a brief stint with GSI before shifting to carrier diplomacy.
