Dr. Ritesh Purohit , HEAD, Geology Department, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur on 07.10.2025 requested to the Secretary, Geoscientists Society for a lecture on How to face job / Placement interview during a seminar to be held in the Department on 3-4 November, 2025 . Sh Purohit was immediately informed that Shri KL Jagetiya, Ex-Group General Manager, ONGC, will be available for delivering a talk/ lecture during the seminar/ workshop with special reference to Petroleum sector. Accordingly Sh KL Jagetiya, on 3rd November, 2025 delivered an interactive presentation for about 2 hours on “Petroleum sector in India” and “how to face job interview in the Petroleum sector of India” in Geology Department, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. The discussion was well received by the Students and faculty members of the department. The approach was to provide a teaser to M.Sc. final year and M.Sc.Tech students to learn more about the Petroleum sector and job opportunities in India and abroad. Since, the workshop was interactive; the question-answer session was conducted with the students, probable questions in the Oil sector job interview for geologists were also shared with the students. HOD Dr. Ritesh Purohit, Lecturers Dr. Mrs Neha Rarh and Dr. S.C. Janagal conveyed thanks to the “Geoscientist Society of Rajasthan” for facilitating a talk/ lecture in the Workshop and experience sharing by its member Shri K.L. Jagetiya.
