23 veteran members of geoscientists society were honored on GEOLOGIST DAY. Swearing in ceremony of newly elected executive of Geoscientist Society concluded. Udaipur, 7 April. During the country's Amrit Mahotsav, World Geologists Day was celebrated by the Geoscientist Society on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Hotel Mukund Vilas premises located on RMV Road, at 5:30 pm. The chief guest of the program was city MLA Shree Tarachand ji Jain and the guest of honor was industrialist Shree Mangilal ji Lunawat. the chief guest and guest of honor were traditionally welcomed by turban/ uparna/ shawl. The welcome address was given by committee President Shree Onkar Singh Siroya. On this occasion, 23 veteran, +75 year old, member-geoscientists were felicitated with uparna /shawl / bedge. The veteran members include S/Shree Basanti Lal ji Babel, Satyendra Narayan ji Bhatnagar, RC Saxena, Dr. Ranjit Choudhary, SC Agarwal, Dr Subhash Chandra Khosla, Naval Singh ji Khamesara, Dr. RL Munshi, Dhirendra Prasad ji Aggarwal, Ravi Dayal ji, Dhirendra Singh ji Mehta, Dr Noratan Mal Khandelwal, Dr. R. P. Kachhara, Dr. KC Gyani, Pyare Krishna ji Yadav, Prakash Kumar ji Vardia, Neelam Singh ji Khamesara, KP Aggarwal, Shashi Ranjan Jani, RL Tank, Omkar Singh Siroya, Ajit Prasad Bhatnagar, Govind Sharma. Also on this occasion, the swearing in ceremony of the newly elected executive committee (24-26) of the Geoscientists Society of Rajasthan was also carried out through Shree Tata Chand ji Jain in which President Onkar Singh Siroya, Vice President Shailendra Dashora, Secretary Dr. M.K. Somani, Joint Secretary R. L. Shrimali, Treasurer B.S. Yadav, Editor Dr. R.L. Jodhawat, and Executive members Akhil Dwivedi, Ravikant Sharma, Dr. Maya Chaudhary, K.L. Jagetiya, S. N. Dodiya, Bharat Dave took oath. Also on this occasion the Election committee headed by Shree T S Ranawat and supported by Shree Arun Maloo and Shabbir Hussain, was also felicitated for carrying out the election process smoothly. Also on this occasion Shree Ravi Kumar Sharma and S N Dodiya were also felicitated who donated a public address system to the society. The Chief Guest and Guest of honor were presented with mementoes by the President Onkar Singh Siroya on behalf of the society. The program was conducted by Secretary Dr. Mahendra Kumar Somani and at the end vote of thanks was presented by Vice President Shailendra Dashora.
