Geoscientists Society of Rajasthan arranged to celebrate Independence Day 15th Aug 2024 at RAJKIYA VRIDHASHRAM, Baleecha, managed by a charity institution, TARA SANSTHAN, at 100 Ft Road, Dakshin Vistar, Mahadev nagar, Baleecha, Udaipur.
At 10.30 AM members assembled at the Vridhashram. The Managers Sh. Shailesh ji Baxi and Deepak ji Sharma welcomed the members of the Society.
At 11.00 AM Flag hoisting was carried out by one of the senior inmates of the Vridhashram.
After that Dr. M. K. Somani gave a brief introduction of the Society. Sh. S. C. Agrawal, Sh Shailendra Dashora and Sh. N. K. Kavadia addressed the gathering. The Society presented all the inmates of the Vridhashram a coffee mug as a gesture of goodwill.
11.30 AM-12.30 PM
The members of the society and inmates of the Vridhashram carried out Plantation of about 15 saplings in the complex.
Around 12.30PM -1.30PM Lunch was served. The lunch was sponsored by Sh. Onkar Singh Siroya, President of the Society.
After lunch the vice president Sh. Shailendra Dashora and Secretary Sh. Somani along with other members also felicitated the managers Sh. Baxi and Sh. Sharma of the Vridhashram.
